It is a pleasure to welcome Stig Trygve Andersen to the team in Grieg Logistics. – With Andersen working with us, we will be positioned to further strengthen our existing business areas, future business development and, not least, our digital focus areas, says CEO Michelle Williams.

Andersen, who has been a board member of Grieg Logistics for the last ten years, comes from the position as Director of Organization & Development in Sparebanken Vest, where he has been the past year. Before that he spent three years at Wärtsilä Oil & Gas as Business Unit Director Gas Solutions.

– Andersen has a comprehensive management experience from the oil and gas industry, both nationally and internationally, and has a good understanding of change development, which will be useful in times of frequent turnarounds and with a lot of exciting things going on, says CEO of Grieg Logistics, Michelle Williams.

Grieg Logistics has been through major changes during the last few years, with new expertise and strengthening of our business areas. In May this year, the company announced in a press release that the newly established Grieg Strategic Services company has collaborated with the Norwegian Armed Forces for deliveries of civil logistics operations. Andersen’s background from the Military will be of great importance when he enters the Board of Grieg Strategic Services.

– Stig Trygve’s solid background is valuable for us in the development of Grieg Logistics as a leading digital and operational business partner to the Norwegian ports. We are therefore very pleased to have him on the team, says CEO of Grieg Logistics, Michelle Williams.

Andersen will start with Grieg Logistics on September 1st, 2017 and will work from the Grieg Group’s headquarters, Grieg-Gaarden, in Bergen.
